Markets traded much volatile today, but remained in the range of 60 points ahead of F&O expiry due in next week and recouped intra-day losses to end marginally higher on reports that the GST constitutional amendment bill has been listed for discussion in the Rajya Sabha next week. Nifty ended the last trading session of the week to settle at 8541.20.
Tata motors, power grid and Zeel were among the top gainers of the day while the ACC, Bajaj Auto and SBIN were among the top losers.
