Domestic key benchmark indices settled higher, buoyed by positive cues from global markets after the United States and Mexico agreed to overhaul the North American Free Trade Agreement. In early trade, key indices opened higher and hit fresh intraday high and hovered near the day’s high in late trade. The Nifty 50 gained 46.55 points and settled the day at 11738.50. Metal sector were the major gainers and PSU banks were the major losers of the day.
European shares rallied on Tuesday after the United States and Mexico reached a trade agreement, with autos enjoying another day of gains on an otherwise quiet day for company news. European STOXX 600 index was up 0.3%. Deloitte on Tuesday reported a nearly 6% increase in full-year revenue in Britain and Switzerland, driven by growth in its audit and risk advisory.
Parag Milk Foods announced the launch of fresh milk made from 100% cow’s milk under the brand Gowardhan in the Delhi NCR region. The fresh milk will be supplied from the recently acquired Sonipat Plant from Danone Foods and Beverages.

Taiwan stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Optoelectronic, Semiconductor and Machinery sectors led shares higher. The Taiwan Weighted gained 0.80%.
