Domestic key indices logged sharp losses led by slide in index heavyweights ITC, ICICI Bank and Hindustan Unilever. Trading for the week began on positive note as key indices edged higher boosted by good first-quarter GDP data. However, Stocks trimmed gains in mid-morning trade after data showed that manufacturing PMI has slowed in August. A sell-off gripped bourses in late trade. The Nifty 50 lost 98.15 points and settled the session at 11582.35. FMCG sector were the major loser and Media sector were the major gainer of the day.
