Domestic stocks drifted higer in early trade on bargain hunting after three-day fall.Volatility ruled the roost in afternoon trade as the key benchmark indices regained strength soon after trimming intraday gains. Indices were trading on a firm note in mid-afternoon trade. Stocks extended gains in late trade to hit intraday high. The Nifty 50 gained 92.55 points and settled the day at 10693.70. Private Banks were major gainer and Metal sector were the major loser of the day.
