Wipro shares rose 2% as the company will divest its hosted data services to  Ensono for $405 million. Apart from this, Wipro and Ensono signed the partnership to jointly address the requirement of Wipro customers.

Suzlon Energy jump to 1.04% after the company’s completion of commissioning of 340 megawatts solar power turnkey project across sites in Telangana, Rajasthan and Maharasthra.

Havells India jump 1.49%after the company signed an agreement with Hyundai Electric for manufacturing magnetic contractors.

On Wednesday, Dewan Housing Finance corporation has allotted 2500 non-convertible debentures of Rs 10 lakh each aggregating to Rs250 crore.

HDIL’s subsidiary accused of fraud of  Rs 12000 crore by Maharashtra’s housing body for illegally selling land chunks to other companies. This may lead to drop down  of 6% in shares prices of HDIL.

HG Infra Engineering shares rose by 8% after the company said it has been declared, lowest bidder for new EPC project under Ministry of Road, Transportation and Highway.

Global Markets

After the close on Thursday Taiwan stocks were lower, as losses in the Auto sectors & Optoelectronic led shares lower. At the close in Taiwan, the Taiwan Weighted declined 0.18 percent.

After the close on Thursday Japan stocks were higher, as gains in the Power, Shipbuilding & and trading sectors led shares higher. At the close in Tokyo, the Nikkei 225 gained 0.15 percent.

After the close on Thursday Philippines stocks were lower, as losses in the Holding Firms, Property & Industrials sectors led shares lower. At the close in the Philippines, the PSEi Composite lost 1.90 percent to hit a new 3-months low.
