US market ended on a positive note on Friday. The Dow Jones rallied 167 points at 15,761 and the Nasdaq added 61 points at 3,919.
The Indian ADRs ended on a mixed note.
MTNL slumped 6.5 per cent at $ 0.4. Genpact plunged 2.4 per cent at $ 17.8.
HDFC Bank dropped 1.5 per cent at $ 33.31. ICICI Bank shed 0.8 per cent at $ 34.47.
On the other hand, Tata Motors rallied 3.7 per cent at $ 30.77. Dr Reddys Lab rallied nearly a per cent at $ 39.03.
Sesa Sterlite advanced 0.6 per cent at $ 12.47. Wipro added 0.4 per cent at $ 11.19.
While, Infosys was flat at $ 53.68.
Asian markets start on a mixed note
The Asian markets are trading on a mixed note this morning.
The Japan’s Nikkei index has surged 1.3 per cent at 14,274.
The Hang Seng and Singapore’s Straits indices are marginally up at 22.759 and 3,179, respectively.
On the Other hand, the Shanghai Composite has dropped 0.4 per cent 2,097.
The Taiwan Weighted has declined 0.4 per cent at 8,201.
