Wockhardt has tumbled 9.3 per cent at Rs 428 after FDA alert on Chikalthana plant.
According to the release issued by Wockhardt to the BSE, the company has received a warning letter from USFDA for its manufacturing units located at L1, Chikalthana, and B15, Waluj, Aurangabad.
USFDA has however, excluded five products from import alert. Metoprolol XR under the import alert.
The stock has touched a 52-week high of Rs 2,166 on March 12, 2013, while, has touched a 52-week low of Rs 344 on August 08, 2013.
The counter has seen huge trades of around 1.52 million shares, so far, on the BSE.
Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex has declined 40 points at 20,384 and the NSE Nifty is down 18 points at 6,040.
